So what are you waiting for?

It’s the perfect cake and only takes a handful of minutes to prepare. It’s also very yummy and delightful to eat, plus it has zero butter in it! I’ve made mine with fresh pineapple because that’s what I had in the fridge, but it can easily be adapted to frozen raspberries or nectarines as well.

3 Easy Steps For Making A Plum Sauce Recipe

Plums are in season, so let’s make the most of them. Chinese duck in plum sauce anyone?

My sister lives in Canberra with her husband, three children and a cat. She is also the lucky owner of two plum trees. I was fortunate enough to take delivery of a bag of organic plums from her trees. So, after eating quite a few, I decided not to let them go to waste, but to make my own plum sauce.

A Fast To Make (and Eat!) Plum Flaugnarde Recipe

A fast dessert using everyday ingredients I know you’ll have in your fridge.

A clafoutis (pronounced Clah-foo-tee) is a classic French dessert using cherries and an eggy batter. It may be a difficult name to pronounce, but it’s not a difficult dessert to prepare. The plums add a subtle tartness which works beautifully with the sweet egg custard. If you don’t have plums don’t despair. This can be adapted to use other stone fruit, or even berries.

Guilt-Free Chocolate and Beetroot Cake with All Natural Red Colouring

A moist chocolate cake recipe that doesn’t use butter? It’s yours for the making…

I still have plenty of beetroot growing in my garden, but I’m not complaining. It’s delicious and nutritious – even in cake! I’ve been meaning to try a chocolate and beetroot cake recipe for some time now. And I’m mighty glad I did. The grated beetroot adds moisture and some sweetness to the cake, and the kids don’t even notice that it’s in there.

I’ve added a chocolate icing to my cake, but another idea is to think of this cake as a Red Velvet style cake ( with all natural red colouring!) and use cream cheese frosting.
