Mouth-Watering Apple Strudel That’s Low In Sugar

A dessert that isn’t too high in sugar content and my boys love (well, who doesn’t love dessert really?!)

My eldest helped me make this, and even took along some pictures and the recipe to his daycare for news day. His daycare was so great that they even made this with his classmates a few days later. My kids love helping out in the kitchen. That they love the finished product is even better 🙂

My eldest son just loves using the rolling pin, cutting out the shapes, and eating the dough scraps when he thinks I’m not watching!

They taste slightly tart, so are perfect for sweet cakes, muffins and slices. This slice recipe pairs dried cranberries with apple and cinnamon to create a moreish slice that is perfect for a school lunchbox. It also freezes well.
